Authorware engineers awarded

A clan of long-serving Authorware developers gathered online to present Jamil Zainasheff, past Director of Engineering for Authorware at Macromedia (now merged with Adobe) and his former team with crystal awards to commemorate their important work spanning over a decade to make Authorware the most powerful and enduring platform for creating and deploying interactive multimedia content for elearning. Also receiving awards were Stefan van As, Tom King, Andrew Chemey, Tom Neuhold-Huber and Mike Baker. The Adobe Breeze session brought together over two dozen developers from around the globe to offer their thanks on behalf of the Authorware community. The online event was inspired and organised by Jeff McGuire, then introduced by renowned Authorware guru Joseph Ganci, of Dazzle Technologies Corp, who congratulated the recipients for their outstanding work and wished them well as they move to new roles within Adobe and elsewhere.

Development of the Authorware product has moved to Adobe's facilities in India.

Thanks for the summary, Ron. I'm sad that I could not view the Breeze presentation, along with several other Awarians. But I'm glad that Jeff took the lead on this worthwhile effort. We will all miss Jamil, Mike, et. al.

It was unfortunate that I could not attend the Breeze session but I'm very happy to be part of the group supporting this effort. Thanks Jeff for taking the lead and thanks Ron for posting the blog.
