Murder in my neighbourhood

The murder of an Indian man in a suburban park near my home has sparked outrage from the Indian politicians and media. The Australian Government pleads correctly that Australians deplore the crime and the implied racism. But Neanderthal comments attached to the movie below (click through to YouTube) undermine claims about public decency. This is the cost of participatory media that shifts normative judgement to the viewer, who may also be prone to ignorant aggression.
